The Beginning
From Hiding to Healing
There was a season when the calling felt too heavy and the silence felt too loud. A season of waiting that looked like wilderness but was actually preparation. It was in that hidden place — tucked away, pressed, and transformed — that Inside His Cocoon was born.
What began as a personal journey of surrender became a mandate: to reach every woman who has ever felt stuck in her process, unseen in her pain, or uncertain of her purpose. The cocoon is not a place of defeat. It is the sacred space where God does His most intimate work.
Today, Inside His Cocoon exists to be that space for others — a ministry and coaching practice built on the conviction that every person carries a divine design, and that transformation is not only possible, it is promised.

Meet the Founder: LATOYA MARTINUS
A Voice Forged in the Fire, A Life Surrendered to Purpose
Latoya Martinus is a woman of many callings — and she walks in every single one with intention. She is a preacher, a coach, and a living witness to the faithfulness of God. Her messages carry the weight of someone who has walked through — not around — the hard places, and come out with a word for those still in the middle of theirs.
With a heart for women in transition and a gift for making the Word come alive, she ministers at churches, conferences, and retreats — and sits across from women in their most vulnerable moments as a coach. Both spaces are sacred to her. Beyond the pulpit, Latoya is a licensed Florida attorney, bringing a sharp legal mind and a servant's heart to every arena she enters. She is also evolving as a worship leader, stewarding the presence of God through music with excellence and reverence. At the intersection of all these callings is a singular passion: helping people break free from the patterns of this world and step boldly into the fullness of who God created them to be.
She believes that the most powerful thing a person can do is say yes to who God called them to be — even when it is terrifying, even when it is inconvenient, even when no one else can see it yet. Above all, Latoya is a mother. She adores her two children, Johndale and Laylah, and has navigated the often murky waters of co-parenting with honesty and perseverance — ultimately finding her footing by choosing to do it God's way. Her journey as a single mother is not separate from her ministry; it is woven into it, a living testimony that transformation is possible in every area of life.
